Baylor pledge Olivia Kitur and Soleil Rhodes each contributed nine kills, while Landry McRae provided 41 assists.
In the Class 5A-others division, Plano Prestonwood Christian also stayed at No. 1 with a 19-2 record. The team swept Fort Worth Nolan in three sets. SMU pledge Taylor Johnson and Nyla Livings combined for 26 kills in that match.
McKinney North climbed to No. 3 after winning three-set matches against Melissa and Nevada Community. Celina entered the rankings at No. 8 following a four-set victory over Lovejoy, who dropped out of the top 10.
Several teams were affected by the absence of key players who competed in the NORCECA U23 Pan Am Cup in Nicaragua. Trophy Club Byron Nelson was without setter Sophee Peterson, and Prestonwood was without middle blocker Nyla Livings. The United States team won the tournament for the second consecutive year, finishing with a 6-0 record.
They defeated the Dominican Republic in the final match with scores of 25-15, 25-10, 23-25, and 25-18.
