Celina issued 287 permits for single-family residences in June, marking a rise from the previous month as the city maintains high development activity. The city’s June 2026 development services report indicates that the monthly average valuation for these homes was $608,702, with an average size of 3,566 square feet. During the same period, city officials conducted 7,558 construction inspections.
Legacy Hills was the top subdivision for new permits, recording 66. Mustang Lakes and Parks at Wilson Creek each received 22 permits, while Ramble also secured 22. The Ranch at Uptown followed with 21 permits, Cambridge Crossing and Sutton Fields each had 19, and Cross Creek Meadows received 14.
Other subdivisions that posted permits included Mosaic with 12, Heights at Uptown with 11, Wilson Creek Meadows with 10, North Sky with 10, Marilee with 8, Rainwater with 7, Green Meadows with 5, Edgewood Creek with 4, Bent Tree Meadows with 3, Wellspring Estates with 3, Harper Estates with 2, Lilyana with 2, Ten Mile Creek with 2, Chalk Hill with 1, Hillside Village with 1, and La Terra with 1.
Eleven new construction projects were permitted in June. These include Celina Crossing - Lot 10 at 4340 S. Preston Rd., Celina Crossing - Lot 11 at 4350 S. Preston Rd., Club Pilates at 1520 S. Preston Rd. No. 130, Jimmy John's at 1520 S. Preston Rd.
No. 110, La Terra Amenity Center at 1615 Aventine Ln., Methodist Woman's Health Specialist - OBGYN at 1530 S. Dallas Pkwy. No. 200, Methodist Timeshare at 1530 S. Dallas Pkwy.
No. 212, Off The Rails Icehouse at 1405 E. Sunset Blvd., Southside Bank at 626 W. Frontier Pkwy., The Crossing at Moore Farm - Shops A at 225 E. Ownsby Pkwy., and WIA Performance Center at 3500 Louisiana Dr.
