Turning Point

The decisive moment arrived in the sixth inning when Seattle outfielder Raleigh drove a 327-foot home run to left field. That solo shot extended the Mariners' lead to 3-1, providing the cushion the visitors needed to secure the win. Houston answered immediately with a 387-foot blast from Allen to left, cutting the deficit to 3-2, but Seattle held on for the final out.

Game Flow

The scoring began in the first inning when Arozarena connected with a 365-foot home run to left center, giving the away team an early 1-0 advantage. Houston failed to answer in the bottom of the first, but the balance shifted in the third. Canzone singled to right field, allowing Rodden to score and tie the game at 1-1.

The next run came in the fourth inning, when Peña launched a 369-foot home run to right field. That shot restored Houston's lead to 2-1. The game remained tight until the sixth inning, where the two home runs decided the outcome. No other runs were scored in the remainder of the game, leaving the final margin at a single run.
