This weekly housing report covers Celina, TX, in the Dallas-Fort Worth region for celina.news. It uses Realtor.com local-market data, Zillow home-value data, Redfin's May 2026 housing-market data and Freddie Mac's weekly mortgage survey. Realtor.com counted 2,480 homes for sale in Celina as of August 2026, while Zillow reported 134 new listings during its latest monthly period. Zillow put the average home value at $526,525, down 9.7% over the past year. Realtor.com listed the median asking price at $568,495 as of August 2026.
Redfin's May 2026 market page reported 268 homes sold, compared with 195 a year earlier. Redfin's median sale price was $495,703, down 11.3% from a year earlier, and average days on market were 92 days, compared with 74 days last year.

By the numbers
Realtor.com listed the median list price at $568,495 as of August 2026. Redfin's median sale price was $495,703 in May 2026. Zillow's average home value was $526,525. Zillow said homes went to pending in around 47 days as of June 30, 2026. Realtor.com reported average days on market at 59 days in August 2026.
Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey put the average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at 6.67% as of August 13, 2026, down from 6.69% a week earlier and below 6.58% a year earlier.
What changed from last year
Redfin's year-over-year sales count increased from 195 to 268. Realtor.com average days on market fell from about 59 days to 59 days. Redfin's median sale price was down 11.3% from a year earlier.
Realtor.com's August 2026 inventory figure and Redfin's May 2026 sold-home figure measure different parts of the market: active supply versus closed transactions. This report keeps those figures separate because they do not describe the same set of homes.
