The Celina City Council will conduct a public hearing during its regular meeting on Sept. 8, 2026.
Council members will consider testimony and vote on an ordinance related to the Ariana Public Improvement District.
The proposed ordinance would accept and approve a Service and Assessment Plan along with assessment rolls for Improvement Areas #1, #2, and #3.
A finding of special benefit will be made for properties within those three areas.
Special assessments will be levied against the affected property, and liens will be established accordingly.
The document outlines the method of assessment and payment procedures in accordance with Chapter 372 of the Texas Local Government Code.
The ordinance also establishes penalties and interest rates for any delinquent assessments.
