The latest U.S. News & World Report's Best Companies to Work For list features 48 employers from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with Dallas itself contributing 24 of those companies. This recognition highlights the diverse economic landscape of the region, which is about 37 miles south of Celina.

The 2026-2027 edition assessed approximately 3,900 companies across 14 industries, evaluating them on factors such as pay and benefits, work-life balance, job stability, and opportunities for professional growth. Among the notable companies in Dallas are Texas Instruments, Southwest Airlines, and the American Heart Association, reflecting the area's strength in various sectors.

Irving follows with 13 companies, including Kimberly-Clark and Caterpillar, while Plano has five, such as Tyler Technologies and Alkami. Fort Worth is represented by two companies: Farmer Brothers and Pier 1 Imports. The list also includes four companies from other parts of the metroplex, showcasing the broad reach of quality employment opportunities in the region.
