An Ohio developer has started building a 272-unit apartment community in Celina.
Cedarwood Cos. has broken ground on Topaz at Light Farms Way, the commercial real estate publication REBusinessOnline reported Oct. 2. The project's leasing website gives its address as 2515 Knox St.
The complex will be four stories tall with studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, according to an Aug. 10 company announcement distributed through Bisnow's press release service. Cedarwood said at the time that site preparation was almost finished and vertical construction would follow shortly.
Inside and out
Cedarwood describes the units as having 9-foot ceilings, open layouts, archways, balconies, walk-in closets, dining areas and washers and dryers in each home.
Shared amenities listed by the company include a clubhouse with a cybercafe, a pool with a firepit, a fitness center, a dog park with a pet spa, a playground, a car care center, walking trails and green space.
The company is handling construction itself through its in-house general contractor, Tri-C Construction.
