Restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick has plans on file for a restaurant on Frontier Parkway in Celina.

A state licensing agency's construction database shows a project, registered Friday, Oct. 9, that covers an interior remodel of a 1,500-square-foot space at 220 W. Frontier Parkway, Suite 100. The filing estimates the cost at $400,000 and schedules the work from Jan. 5 through March 21, 2027.

According to the filing, the job covers the inside of the space only, with no exterior work and no change of use. The tenant is paying for the work. The property owner is listed as Centra Frontier Realty LLC of Irving, and the design firm is 1Architecture of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The filing does not give an opening date, and we found no public announcement of a Celina location as of Sunday.

One address, two filings

The same address has come up before. In August, a separate state filing for a Mountain Mike's Pizza listed 220 W. Frontier Parkway, Suite 100, with the same property owner, though that filing gave the city as Prosper. It described a 2,800-square-foot pizza restaurant in a new retail strip center.

The two filings list different square footage, and neither explains how the suites are numbered, so it is not clear from the records whether the restaurants would sit side by side or whether one plan replaced the other.

Centra Frontier Realty is also the owner on a 2025 state filing for a 10,018-square-foot building at a center listed as Centra Plaza 2 on Frontier Parkway in Celina.

Frontier Parkway runs along the line between Celina and Prosper, and several new shops have filed plans along it this year.
