Nico Collins' availability for Houston's Week 2 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals remains undecided after the wide receiver missed two straight practices with a hamstring injury. His official game status has not been announced.

Collins was injured during Houston's Wednesday workout and did not participate Thursday or Friday. NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Texans doctors did not view the injury as serious. Ian Rapoport, speaking Friday on *The Pat McAfee Show*, said missing both practices reduced Collins' chances of playing, while also describing the hamstring issue as apparently not serious.

The 27-year-old began the 2026 season with seven catches, 75 receiving yards and a touchdown on 10 targets during Houston's 36-31 defeat against Buffalo. Before this season, he had exceeded 1,000 receiving yards in every one of the prior three years.

ClutchPoints.com reported that his status had not been resolved and said a possible return could come in Houston's Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 27 if he misses Cincinnati.
