SMU will start the 2027 football season against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium, followed by four ACC games at home. Clemson, NC State, Georgia Tech and Stanford are scheduled to visit the Mustangs.
Five league contests will take SMU to Cal and Virginia, followed by Boston College, Pittsburgh and Duke. The nine-game conference lineup will be the second played under the ACC's current scheduling format, which also calls for at least 10 games each season against Power Four opponents. The ACC said dates and the complete 2027 schedule are expected in late January.
Under head coach Rhett Lashlee, SMU is 15-2 in ACC play. The Mustangs have not lost a conference game at Gerald J. Ford Stadium, and their league record during that span is the best among ACC programs. SMU is scheduled to play at No. 23 Louisville this week.
