Celina’s volleyball program is moving into Class 5A competition in 2026 after a successful final stretch in 4A, according to Star Local Media.
The Lady Bobcats reached the UIL state tournament three times across four seasons while also advancing to the regional final round or farther in each of the last five seasons.
Junior McKynna Stephens is among the returning players. She led Celina in kills last season and was part of the team that extended its regional finals streak.
The report said Celina has significant experience back on the court as it prepares for its first season at the 5A level. Additional roster details and schedule information were not provided.
