Frisco Police responded to a robbery involving a firearm in the parking lot of the Frisco Athletic Center on June 29, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. when officers were called to the scene. The individuals involved fled the area in a blue and white Ford Bronco before law enforcement arrived.

Investigators determined that the vehicle belonged to a resident living near the athletic center. Officers later located the Bronco at a fast-food restaurant situated a few miles from the Frisco Athletic Center. Upon interviewing the individuals associated with the vehicle, police learned that the person carrying the handgun was not present at that location.

Frisco is about 12 miles south of Celina.

A preliminary investigation, conducted with assistance from detectives and school resource officers, revealed that the individuals involved are juveniles enrolled in the Frisco Independent School District. Authorities stated that all parties identified in the incident will be held accountable for their actions.

The Frisco Police Department is requesting that anyone with information regarding this case or related offenses contact them at (972) 292-6010. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 or by using the Frisco PD app.

Details regarding the specific charges filed against the juveniles or the current status of the firearm are not yet clear.
