The City of Celina hosts a one-day volunteer service event to help residents with home maintenance and minor repairs such as yard work and exterior upkeep. The day opens at 8:00 a.m. with a kickoff at the Downtown Square that includes breakfast and a message from the mayor. Teams then deploy to project sites across the community. Residents in need of assistance can request help through the city's service day assistance form. Volunteers sign up through the city website; breakfast and team t-shirts are provided.
