A small share of Celina voters will see the 26th Congressional District race on their ballots. Texas Legislative Council census tables for the 2025 map put 1,343 of the city's 16,739 residents, about 8%, in District 26, with the remainder in District 4.

In District 26, Republican Rep. Brandon Gill is running for a second term against Democrat Steven Shook. Gill told the Cross Timbers Gazette he wants to keep bringing "common sense to Washington." Shook has made lower health care and prescription drug costs his main issue. The Vote-USA candidate directory also lists Libertarian Phil Gray.

Celina residents can confirm which congressional contest is on their ballot by checking a sample ballot from their county elections office. Early voting begins Oct. 19 and ends Oct. 30; Election Day is Nov. 3.
