Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Madden Williams has been ruled out for the entire 2026 season following a lower-body injury sustained during practice, as confirmed by head coach Mike Elko. Williams will need surgery to address the issue.
He was not in uniform for the season opener against Missouri State, joining safety Tawfiq Byard on the sidelines. This injury marks the third wide receiver loss for the Aggies before the season began. Earlier in fall camp, Jonah Wilson was removed from the roster after transferring from Houston, and Jerome Myles was also announced to be leaving the program due to personal reasons.
Myles, a former five-star recruit, missed all of the 2025 season due to injury.
With Williams unavailable, Texas A&M will depend on primary wide receivers Mario Craver, Isaiah Horton, and Ashton Bethel-Roman. True freshman Aaron Gregory made a notable contribution in the opener, catching a 15-yard touchdown pass and totaling two receptions for 22 yards. Kelshaun Johnson and TK Norman will also have increased opportunities, with Johnson recording three catches for 25 yards against Missouri State.
The team plans to finalize its wide receiver depth chart in the upcoming games before facing LSU in Baton Rouge.
