TCU is 2-1 heading into Big 12 play and expects wide receiver Jordan Dwyer to be available against UCF on Sept. 26. Dwyer has missed the Horned Frogs’ first three games of the 2026 season because of a foot injury, although his availability has not been confirmed beyond the coach’s update.
After TCU’s 31-7 victory over Arkansas State, coach Sonny Dykes said, “We expect Jordan to play next week.” Dykes also said Dwyer’s return would give the team a lift.
Dwyer transferred to TCU from Idaho and was a key offensive contributor in 2025. He started every regular-season game, recording 54 catches for 730 yards and seven touchdowns. In his TCU debut against North Carolina, he had nine receptions for 136 yards and one touchdown.
During his absence, Ed Small has become one of TCU’s leading receivers, while tight end Kari Ashley contributed against Arkansas State. Their production has given quarterback Jaden Craig multiple options during the opening games.
