From Nov. 2 opener to Dec. 22 finale, UNT charts 2026-27 slate

North Texas will play 13 nonconference games in 2026-27, including nine at the Super Pit in Denton.

North Texas will close its 2026-27 nonconference schedule with three home games, hosting Winthrop on Dec. 16, Bethune-Cookman on Dec. 20 and the University of the Southwest on Dec. 22. The Mean Green will play five of their final six nonconference games in Denton, with Bradley on Dec. 4 and Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 6 among them.

The 13-game slate, released by UNT Athletics and second-year head coach Daniyal Robinson, begins Nov. 2 against Southwest Christian. McNeese visits Nov. 5, followed by Santa Clara on Nov. 11 and South Alabama on Nov. 14. McNeese and Santa Clara reached the 2025-26 NCAA Tournament, while South Alabama appeared in the NIT.

North Texas’ first road game is Nov. 20 at App State in Boone, North Carolina. The team will then compete in the Snake Rivers Invitational in Idaho Falls, Idaho, from Nov. 27 through Nov. 29, with Drake, North Dakota State and Boise State listed as opponents.

The Mean Green will play Texas State on Dec. 13 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth in the Coast-to-Coast Challenge. The American Conference schedule is expected later. Season tickets are available through the Mean Green Ticket Office at 940-565-2527 or ticketoffice@unt.edu.
