As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for the start of the 2026 NFL season, they are facing injury concerns with two players on their active roster. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is currently sidelined due to an abs/groin injury but was seen participating in rehab work on September 1, indicating a possibility of playing in the season opener.

Additionally, guard Ajani Cornelius, who has shown promise during training camp, is recovering from an injury that caused him to miss practice on September 2. He was also spotted doing rehab work on September 1, suggesting he might be ready for Week 1, depending on his recovery progress.

The Cowboys have also placed linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore on injured reserve. Liufau suffered a fractured forearm during the preseason finale and underwent surgery, while Moore is dealing with a hip injury following previous groin issues. Both players will be out for at least the first month of the season.

Further updates regarding the status of Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week unfolds.
