Baltimore’s flight from its home city to Rio will cover approximately 4,781 miles. The game is set for 5:25 p.m. local time in Rio, which is one hour ahead of Eastern Time.
Based on the schedule described by CBS Sports, the teams may not leave Brazil until after midnight, and Dallas’ return flight could last more than 10 hours, potentially putting the Cowboys back in Dallas near noon on Monday.
Both teams are scheduled to play in Week 4. Dallas will visit the Houston Texans, while Baltimore will host the Tennessee Titans. Comparable previous trips included a 5,456-mile Rams flight to London followed by a bye and a joint Rams-49ers trip of more than 7,800 miles to Australia, followed by at least 10 days before the teams’ next games.
Before this trip, Denver’s 4,670-mile London flight was the longest without a following bye.
