The City of Celina is adding a community tradition to its official lineup of signature events with Celina Oktoberfest, presented by Sinacola. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM in Downtown Celina.

The free, family-friendly celebration will transform the Downtown Square into an Oktoberfest experience. Activities include traditional live music and folk dancing, German-inspired food, local vendors, spirited competitions, and activities for the entire family. Guests are encouraged to wear lederhosen and dirndls and enjoy music from German, Austrian, Czech, and American traditions.

The Main Stage, sponsored by REX Real Estate, will feature performances by The Dogensteins, STV Almrausch, and The Royal Klobasneks. The Dogensteins will perform polka interpretations of rock, country, and classic hits. STV Almrausch will showcase traditional Bavarian and Tirolean folk dancing and culture. The Royal Klobasneks will close the afternoon with a mix of polkas, waltzes, and popular music.

The Activity Stage will host several competitions, including the Dachshund Dash, Keg Rolling, Brat Eating Contest, Beer Stein Race, and Stein Hoisting. Registration for these events takes place near the Activity Stage during the festival. Some competitions require an entry fee, while others are free. Space is limited, and participants are encouraged to register early.

The event schedule begins at 3:00 PM with The Dogensteins on the Main Stage. Entertainment and competitions continue throughout the afternoon. The Royal Klobasneks perform from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, followed by the Stein Hoisting competition from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The event concludes at 7:00 PM.

In addition to entertainment and competitions, guests can explore local vendors, enjoy German-inspired food and salted pretzels, and shop official Celina Oktoberfest merchandise.
