Collin County’s September payment register lists a $5,335.94 payment to Celina, Texas, for third-quarter child-safety fees.

The City of Celina is the payee on check 565814, dated Sept. 17, 2026. Commissioners gave the disbursement list final approval Sept. 28, according to the signed court order.

The revenue has a vehicle-registration connection. Collin County’s fiscal 2026 fee schedule lists a $1.50 child-safety charge, while state law directs counties to share eligible proceeds with municipalities according to population after permitted deductions.

The register identifies Celina’s amount and the quarterly fee purpose. It does not specify a city project paid for with this money or confirm its later use by Celina.
