Universal Kids theme park officially opened in Frisco, marking the completion of a long-awaited development in the area. The resort, owned by NBCUniversal, is situated just off the Dallas North Tollway in North Frisco. Frisco is about 12 miles south of Celina.
Ticket sales are now active, with adult admission starting at $55. Two-day passes are priced at $74. The operator also offers annual memberships, VIP experiences, and discounted rates for large groups. Parking fees are set at $20 for regular spots and $30 for premium locations. Visitors carrying NTTA Toll Tags can settle parking costs at the on-site toll plaza for faster entry.
Demand for the opening weekend was high. As of the time of publication, tickets for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, July 4, had sold out. Limited availability remained for Friday and Sunday. Hotel packages are also on sale, featuring a 300-room resort adjacent to the park entrance. The property includes themed rooms, dining venues, and a pool. The first guests checked in on Tuesday night.
Park hours typically run from 10 a.m. to 7 or 8 p.m., varying by day. Guests staying at the on-site hotel receive early admission privileges. Officials advise visitors to stay hydrated and utilize shaded areas and air-conditioned indoor spaces due to the weather.
Local residents have expressed enthusiasm for the new attraction. Jerry Li, a resident of Celina, noted the excitement of watching the construction progress over time. Parents in the area see the park as a new option for summer activities for children.
