Man dies after single-vehicle rollover crash in Celina

Celina police are investigating a fatal rollover crash on South Dallas Parkway that killed a 24-year-old driver.

A 24-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle rollover crash on South Dallas Parkway in Celina. The incident occurred Thursday evening, prompting an active investigation by local authorities.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the 4000 block of South Dallas Parkway shortly after 6 p.m. on Aug. 27. Witnesses had reported seeing a vehicle involved in a rollover and noted that it appeared to be on fire, according to the Celina Police Department.

Upon arrival, officers located the driver, identified as Alexis Rios, who had been ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics from the Celina Fire Department transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

The Celina Collision Investigation Team is leading the probe into the cause of the crash. Officers from the Collin County Sheriff's Office and the Anna Police Department also responded to assist at the scene.

Department officials stated that the investigation remains ongoing. No further details regarding the specific circumstances of the crash have been released.
