CELINA, Texas — Costco Wholesale is planning an August opening for its Celina warehouse, according to the company's website and Community Impact.
The store is planned for 3445 S. Preston Road, at the corner of Preston Road and Ownsby Parkway. Community Impact reported that the project includes a 158,000-square-foot warehouse and a fueling station.
Costco lists the Celina location among its new stores with an estimated August 2026 opening. The company offers members groceries, pharmacy products, automotive services and other retail categories.
The project has been closely watched in Celina as the city continues to add major retail and commercial development along Preston Road. The warehouse format also adds a regional shopping destination for residents in Celina and nearby Prosper.
