Texas A&M edge rusher Anto Saka has been included in The Athletic's 2026 "Freaks List," an annual compilation of exceptional college football athletes, as announced by the school on Monday. Bruce Feldman, who compiles the list, referred to Saka as "the freakiest of a very gifted D-line room."
Saka stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 255 pounds, wearing jersey number 14. He is a graduate student from Baltimore, having transferred to College Station from Northwestern. The defensive line also features another transfer, Sam M'Pemba, who is 6-3 and 257 pounds and joined from Georgia as a redshirt junior.
The Freaks List highlights remarkable athletic testing results reported by strength coaches and programs, focusing on raw physical ability rather than on-field performance. Texas A&M did not disclose Saka's specific ranking on the list.
The announcement comes as the Aggies are in the midst of Fall Camp, preparing for their season opener on September 5 at Kyle Field.
